Irshad is a native of Lautoka, Fiji and grew up in a household with modest means, but with a strong sense of family, great ethics, and an appreciation for hard work. At an early age, he spent his mornings in the ocean fishing and his afternoons on the Queen’s Highway selling his catch. This entrepreneurial spirit never left him. After completing his education, he pursued a career in equipment maintenance with some of the world’s largest transportation companies. Eventually, Irshad started his own successful fleet maintenance business. Irshad is married and has two children. He has been an active philanthropist in the Fiji community in many ways, including providing scholarships to those in need and supporting a local orphanage. His desire to continue to play a positive role in the communities of Fiji was the genesis of Kai-Viti Water.
