Paul is a native of Southern California. He comes from a heritage of entrepreneurs (primarily social entrepreneurs assisting the underprivileged). Like Irshad, Paul pursued entrepreneurial ventures early. He paid for college at UCLA entirely by starting a house painting business. After graduating from Harvard Business School, Paul decided to not return to the finance work he had previously done and instead became an entrepreneur. Since then he has owned and operated a bakery company in San Francisco (Andre-Boudin Bakeries), a construction company in northern California, and an equipment rental business in Nevada, a digital marketing business and a functional beverage company. Paul is married and has three children who all love Fiji. Paul’s keen interest in developing nations, constant intrigue with business opportunities and aspiration to live an “island life” made partnering with Irshad to found Kai-Viti an easy decision.
